So I am now spotlight certified at the Clarice Smith Center.. Scary right?

lol I like doing lighting so much more than working events as a stage hand.
And I get paid to work more hrs.
The tech kids are way cooler.
I don't know why I was stupid and did not get lessons from pat/andy/mark while I was still in high school.

I am also taking a THET 479 credit to work on the run crew of Machinal (one of umd's mainstage performances)
I am about to get measured for my costume?
When we move the sets on stage we are going to be in costume because they are choreographing our movements lol. Sounds fun.
The first readthrough is next week.
It ends the sunday of the fall show. So I might get to come and see you guys at nhs if i get out of strike early.
In a very self centered sounding post,
I just thought I would update the highschoolers/people I was once a family with but never see anymore..

Love you all !

DID ANYONE KNOW that Umd has the 3rd tallest rock wall in the nation!!!

and Tuesday is Beginner Night so you can go and they will teach you all of the proper climbing techniques for free.. fucking awesome...

also they have a group of outdoor recreational people who go on ski trips once the season starts. You also can rent all of your equipment (boards, boots, and lift ticket) for under $25. Fucking awesome.
So our new roommate is moving in this friday/sat, Rachel Ross. Its going to be intersiting having two Rachel's in the house:)

Anyways I may roll through the county this weekend.. It has been about 3 weeks since I have been home. I have been pretty bogged down with papers etc. But I need and emergency trip to do some freakin laundry. Hopefully I may be able to see some of you. However, the time spent there, depends on how many Final Papers I have due at the beginning of next week...

Love you all!

I met the boys that live above us yesterday. It was Parth's 21st birthday. He was awesome!! He is in a frat, lets just say that the size of the party was compairable to a couple of the beach house parties we have thrown. In other words the place was packed. The whole night I hung out with this boy John, who is a screen play writer at the University of the Arts in Philly. It was kinda nice to see a friendly face, and to finally meet a fellow theatre boy. I can't wait for the fall school year to start. The neighbors seem pretty chill.

In responce to not "thinking," I guess is what they call it, about your actions.

I don't think people should judge others too harshly b/c there is no concrete future laid out before you. One day you might be in their very shoes. I am not trying to justify anything, except the fact that life is messy, and it would be completely pointless if it was not. So why would you not want to get completely enraptured with it regardless of the consequences.
